About Our School

Canterbury School is an independent K-8 Episcopal day school comprised of children, staff and parents with a vision and mission in scholarship and service. Since its establishment in 1993, Canterbury has sought to educate the whole child by extending its program beyond the purely academic to provide an educational experience that nourishes mind, body and spirit.

As an Episcopal School, Canterbury has two fundamental characteristics. First, it maintains the highest academic standards. Second, understanding that academics alone will not provide guidance for a better world, it nurtures each child’s spiritual core.
