Class of 2002
Annie Elam, CPA, is working as an Analyst and Billing Technician at PowerSecure, Inc. in Raleigh, NC.
Class of 2003
Cole Gibson spent the summer doing internships in Los Angeles, CA. He worked for the Academy Award nominated director Ridley Scott and his brother, director Tony Scott at their Scott Free Studios. Cole also worked for Bernderspink, producers of the successful The Hangover and American Pie series.
Class of 2004
Krissy Dull married Michael Graban here on Canterbury’s campus in January. Krissy is also chairing the upcoming Peacehaven Barnyard Dash 5K run/walk to benefit Peacehaven Community Farm, a non-profit group home for individuals with special needs. The race will be March 31, 2012.
Spencer Kuzmier studied abroad this spring at the University of Hong Kong. Additionally, in December of last year, he received a patent for a fruit preservation device that he invented.
Andrew Reittinger is a biochemistry major at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He works part time in a research lab and participated in the International Student Research Conference held in November. His presentation was “The Role of AMPA Receptors in the Nucleus Accumbens Core and Nucleus Accumbens Shell in Context –Induced Reinstatement of Cocaine Seeking Behavior.” He was also nominated to be an associate member in the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society this year and is the Vice President of Administrative Affairs for the DKE Fraternity and on the IFC Greek Judicial Board.

Audrey Smith is an English and Philosophy major with a minor in Spanish at the University of Iowa. She was chosen for the President’s Leadership Class and was accepted into the undergrad Creative Writing Track. She has also been selected to be a Writing Fellow next year. She made the President’s List and was chosen to be an RA for the Writing Living Learning Community.

Matthew Aronson had the highest academic average in the senior class at Greensboro Day School, where he was also awarded Outstanding Achievement in Chemistry II Advanced Placement, Literature and Composition Advanced Placement, Calculus AB, and Latin V Literature. Additionally, Matthew was awarded Outstanding Senior Math Student.
Emily Bowden is a member of the National Thespian Society, the National Honor Society and a magna cum laude graduate from Page High School.
Chandler Brewer is a member of the National Honor Society and a cum laude graduate from Grimsley High School.
Morgan Cranford earned Player of the Year and All-Conference Girls Golf at Grimsley High School.
John Ganem is a member of the National Honor Society and a magna cum laude graduate from Page High School.
Kathryn Harris is a cum laude graduate from Grimsley High School.

Thomas Beard received the Randolph Macon Award, presented to a junior at Christ School who is an excellent student and active in extra-curricular activities, especially in leadership roles. He also earned his Eagle Scout Award.

Adair Clark earned Academic Excellence with Highest Distinction, Junior Marshall and Scholar Athlete at Grimsley High School. Additionally, she earned her Girl Scout Gold Award.
Kendall Clark earned Outstanding Progress in English Language Advanced Placement and Outstanding Progress in Biology I Advanced at Greensboro Day School.
Emily Crow earned Outstanding Achievement in English Language Advanced Placement and Spanish IV Advanced; as well as Outstanding Progress in United States History Advanced Placement at Greensboro Day School.

Shannon Arnold earned Outstanding Achievement in Statistics Advanced Placement, Chemistry I Advanced, Spanish IV Advanced and World History II at Greensboro Day School. Additionally, she was awarded Outstanding 10th Grade Math Student.
Alex Boyko spent four weeks in Quito, Ecuador this summer volunteering with the VISION Project. Additionally, Alex earned Outstanding Achievement in World History II at Greensboro Day School.
