Help organize or work at 1K/5K race held at Canterbury
Altar Guild
Decorate Phillips Chapel during the Christmas season, coordinate Christmas flower fundraiser, and assist with special chapel events during the year.
Book Fair
Organize fall scholastic book fair in conjunction with school librarian.
Booster Club
Help with Middle School sporting events and spirit days
Care Committee
Support and organize help for Canterbury families as needed.
Clerical Assistance
Assist with school pictures 2 days in the fall, cover the front desk and assist with various clerical duties.
Clothing Exchange
Help with collecting, organizing and selling used uniforms
Community Dinner/Special Events
Help plan and coordinate 2 school wide events during the year.
Cookbook Committee
Help organize school cookbook fundraiser.
Fall Social
Help throw a casual adult only “get together” in October.
Fine Arts
Assist the arts department with special events and visiting artists
Green Committee
Help increase environmental awareness (recycling, composting, and various eco
friendly projects) among entire Canterbury Community.
Homeroom Coordinators
Help coordinate homeroom parents for lower school and advisory group parents for middle school.
Hospitality
Help host various school related functions throughout the year.
Hot Lunch
Organize and distribute hot lunches to students and staff several Fridays a month.
New Family
Welcome new families to our community
Parent Education
Coordinate parent education opportunities for both lower school and middle school parents.
Parents' Page
Help write articles, take pictures, edit and produce the monthly school-wide publication.
Passive Fundraising
Coordinate fundraising opportunities such as Harris Teeter VIC Card Rewards, Boxtops for Education, Chick Fil A Nights, and Target Red Card Awards.
Planting Committee
Help plant flowers in containers and beds and help water outdoor plants. Campus beautification!
School Store
Manage and staff the school store. Organize, stock and assist students and parents with purchase of school merchandise.
Signature Fundraiser
Coordinate wrapping paper fundraiser.
Skating
Organize and chaperone the Lower School after hours skating parties at Skateland.
Spring Fling
Help plan, organize and man our spring fun day
Stone Soup
Organize and plan the Stone Soup celebration held the Tuesday before Thanksgiving break.
Teacher Appreciation
Organize staff coffee bars, teacher appreciation luncheons, and Christmas casseroles.
Tech Support
Assist our computer teachers in the classroom
Volunteer Coordinator
Help organize volunteers for the various CPA committees.
