Letter from Director
On certain special days, as you approach the front doors of our lower school, you will be greeted by the songs and activity of bluebirds who play between the trees and playground, chapel and school buildings.
But every single day, as you open the doors of our lower school, you are greeted by the sights and sounds of children engaged in both study and play.
Each classroom at Canterbury provides a world of opportunity to enhance a child's natural curiosity and creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with a balance between freedom and structure. You will find experienced, caring teachers guiding their students but always allowing detours for that "teachable moment." The faculty works to instill a feeling of self-worth and self-confidence in each student knowing that each child brings a variety of gifts to a classroom.
Come visit us and see why we love our school, where teaching and learning move easily between faculty and students.
Imagine your child and family here.
