Classes
Spiritual development and theology classes are an important part of the curriculum
for all students. These classes are scheduled once a week for all grade levels
and are taught by a lay teacher (grades K-3) and the chaplain (grades 4-8).
Students explore their personal spirituality and their own faith traditions,
as well as learn about the customs and beliefs of others. K-4 spiritual development
classes focus on concepts and themes; 5-8 theology classes focus on Hebrew
scripture, Christian scripture, church history, and eighth grade theology.
